Thomas and Hannah Williams had four children (two sons and two daughters):

Thomas Williams does not appear to have remarried after the early death of his wife Hannah, aged 29 years, in 1861 at Dairy Flat, Yankalilla district. At that time he was just 31 years old and had three living children (Ann – 7,  John – 5 and Jane – 3). Thomas died on 16 June 1896 at Willunga with his age given as 71 years. Thomas Williams is buried with his wife Hannah in the Willunga Uniting Church (Wesleyan Methodist) cemetery. They are commemorated with a slate tombstone on a chest tomb (alongside Hannah’s sister Ann) that was carved by George Sara.
